UN DESAFIANTE TALENTO

     Creo que cualquiera puede lograr lo que quiere en la vida. A lo largo de mi vida, he interactuado con diferentes personas. Aprendí que la mayoría de las personas lamentan no haber podido esforzarse por hacer realidad sus sueños. No me gustaría arrepentirme en el futuro por fracasar en hacer algo o por no lograr un objetivo que había establecido. Por lo tanto, como una persona que cree que el aprendizaje es un proceso contínuo, es hora de volver a clase y buscar una educación superior.

     Mi objetivo principal de seguir una maestría en español es pulir mis habilidades literarias para el final del curso. Estoy seguro de que obtener una maestría en español en Queens College, mejorará mi arte de la escritura de manera significativa. Mi objetivo a largo plazo es incursionar en una carrera relacionada con la literatura. Además de mi amor por el español, creo que el idioma me diferenciará en el mundo de la literatura. Como tal, deseo estudiar niveles avanzados de español para obtener el conocimiento de las habilidades lingüísticas adecuadas para utilizar al abordar conceptos complejos en mis obras literarias.

     Soy una persona que valora iluminar a los demás. En mi opinión, las personas deberían popularizar el español para convertirse en uno de los idiomas oficiales reconocidos internacionalmente. Como tal, mi objetivo para estudiar una Maestría en español es obtener las calificaciones académicas pertinentes para enseñar el idioma en instituciones de educación superior. Soy consciente de que una maestría allanará el camino para que me una a un programa de doctorado y luego enseñe en la universidad. Como tal, confío en que este programa me presente las habilidades complejas que utilizaré para enseñar a mis alumnos en el futuro. También usaré las habilidades para escribir poemas e historias creativas y cautivantes en español que atraerán a lectores de todo el mundo. Como resultado, desarrollarán interés en aprender el idioma en niveles avanzados; así popularizándolo. Por lo tanto, creo que seguir este programa me ayudará a lograr el objetivo de convertir el español en uno de los idiomas más hablados del mundo.

       Actualmente, soy consciente de que Queens College no ofrece una maestría en escritura creativa en español, sino en inglés. Sin embargo, no veo esto como un impedimento para lograr mis objetivos. Estoy seguro de que esta institución es la adecuada para mí para continuar con este programa porque tiene suficientes recursos. Completé en la ciudad de Nueva York, mi curso de pregrado en español de Queens College. En base a mi experiencia previa, aprendí que la institución cuenta con los mejores profesores con quienes puedo compartir la experiencia de estudiar sobre los mejores escritores, dramaturgos y expertos en filosofía, literatura y creatividad. Estoy seguro de que el plan de estudios de Queens College en el programa de español me ayudará a desarrollar mis cualidades básicas como escritora y a desarrollar técnicas avanzadas, sensibilidad y creatividad que pueda aplicar en mi escritura. Además, la universidad tiene un testimonio de antiguos graduados que tienen carreras exitosas en literatura que se enfocan en español. Como tal, me gustaría formar parte del equipo que conforma la institución.

     Me encanta leer y escribir en español. La literatura me fascina y amo leer libros de principio a fin sin saltarme una línea. Escribo en prosa y tambien en verso, creo que nací para escribir poemas, me gustaría dedicar toda mi vida a escribir versos, la poesía es mi pasión. Estoy seguro de que Queens College me ayudará a lograr más grandeza en mi poesía. Por lo tanto, mi talento está listo para un nuevo desafío.

A TALENT CHALLENGE

    I believe anyone can achieve what he or she wants in life. Throughout my life, I have interacted with different people. I learned that majority of people regret for failing to strive to realize their dreams. I would not want to regret in future for failing to do something or failing achieve a goal that I had set. Therefore, as a person who believes learning is a continuous process, it is time to go back to class and pursue higher education.

    My primary objective of pursuing a Master’s degree in Spanish is to polish my literature skills by the end of the course. I am confident that obtaining a Master's degree in Spanish at Queens College will enhance my art of writing to a significant extent. My long term goal is to venture into a literature-related career. Apart from my love for Spanish, I believe that the language will set me apart in the world of literature. As such, I want to study advanced levels of Spanish to gain knowledge of the right language skills to use when addressing complex concepts in my literature works. 

    I am a person who values enlightening others. In my opinion, people should popularize Spanish to become one of the official languages recognized internationally. As such, my objective for studying a Master’s degree in Spanish is to gain the relevant academic qualifications to teach the language in institutions of higher learning. I am aware that a Master’s degree will pave a way for me to join a doctorate program and later teach in college. As such, I am confident that this program will introduce me to complex skills that I will use to teach my students in future. I will also use the skills to write creative and captivating poems and stories in Spanish that will attract readers across the world. As a result, they will develop interest in learning the language at advanced levels; thus popularizing it. Therefore, I believe that pursuing this program will help me to achieve the goal of making Spanish one of the top-spoken languages in the world.

    Currently, I am aware that that Queens College does not offer a Master’s degree in creative writing in Spanish, but English. However, I do not view this as an impediment to achieving my objectives. I am confident that this institution is the right institution for me to pursue this program because it has sufficient resources. I completed in New York City, my undergraduate course in Spanish from Queens College. Based on my previous experience, I learned that the institution has the best professors with whom I can share the experience of studying about the best writers, playwrights and experts in philosophy, literature, and creativity. I am sure that the curriculum of Queens College in the Spanish program will help me develop my basic qualities as a writer and develop advanced techniques, sensitivity and creativity that I can apply in my writing. Furthermore, the College has a testimony of former graduates who have successful literature careers that focus on Spanish. As such, I would want to be part of the team that makes the institution. 

     I love reading and writing in Spanish. Literature fascinates me and I love reading books from start to end without skipping a line. I write in prose, but poetry is passion. I believe that I was born to write poems. I would like to devote my whole life to writing verses. I am confident that Queens College will help me achieve more grandeur in my poetry. Therefore, my talent is ready for a new challenge.
